Job Summary:

Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a safe, efficient, and productive manner according to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials and products throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, tag, and place inventory items, ensuring proper organization and location tracking.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area by sweeping, mopping, and organizing pallets.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including shipping logs and inventory reports, with high accuracy.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10 or equivalent) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory counting and order fulfillment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team structure.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
