Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move materials throughout the facility.
- Load & Unload: Properly load, unload, and stage freight for shipping and receiving using the correct safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts and stock organization to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Packaging: Inspect and prepare products for shipping, ensuring all packaging meets quality standards.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Forklift License) is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory and safety protocols.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
