Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, stack, and organize inventory safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with warehouse team to meet daily production and shipping targets
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company standards at all times
- Support cross-functional teams during peak operational periods
- Train new team members on proper equipment operation and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts in warehouse environments
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends during peak seasons
