Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure operational readiness
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our WMS (Warehouse Management System)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading workflows
- Enforce strict safety standards and OSHA compliance protocols
- Train and mentor new team members on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Participate in quarterly inventory audits and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Valid California Driver's License
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
