Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, locate, and rearrange inventory in warehouse settings
- Load/unload trucks, containers, and pallets while adhering to safety protocols and weight limits
- Perform daily equipment inspections, maintenance checks, and report malfunctions promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning systems and digital tracking tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency and meet production targets
- Uphold OSHA compliance standards and maintain clean, organized workspaces
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational safety and productivity
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain company-provided certification)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts in warehouse/distribution environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness for precise material handling
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
