Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and loading docks
- Perform daily equipment inspections and safety checks per OSHA standards
- Manage inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams for timely material transfers
- Maintain clean and organized work zones per 5S methodology
- Adhere to all safety protocols including PPE requirements
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Flexibility for weekend/night shifts during peak seasons
