Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment to move, load, and unload materials efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and conduct pre/post-shift equipment inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows and meet deadlines
- Train and mentor new operators on safe equipment handling procedures
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) and 2+ years of recent operating experience
- Ability to read and interpret warehouse layouts, shipping manifests, and inventory reports
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety compliance
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and overtime shifts as needed
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
