Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Verify inventory accuracy by counting stock and tagging items appropriately.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA standards, to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Organize and stack merchandise to maximize warehouse space and accessibility.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Assist with warehouse maintenance and general cleanliness duties.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CPCS/OSHA) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order picking.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
