Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload pallets and materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately check and record inventory levels, ensuring stock is organized and easily accessible for the logistics team.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including proper PPE usage and hazard reporting.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in the picking, packing, and staging of orders to meet customer delivery deadlines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance on forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in inventory tracking.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Availability: Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
