Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Manage inventory counts and documentation to maintain accurate stock records
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Assist in organizing warehouse layouts for maximum space utilization and accessibility
- Support cross-functional teams during peak periods to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance operational skills and safety awareness
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (e.g., OSHA-approved) or willingness to obtain immediately
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation
