Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks to move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately check and record incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring all inventory is accounted for and properly labeled.
- Loading & Unloading: Load and unload trucks and containers in a timely manner, adhering to strict weight and balance guidelines.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of daily operations and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- License: Valid Driver's License required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Availability: Reliable availability for part-time shifts (e.g., evenings or weekends preferred).
