Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
- Load and unload trailers, railcars, and trucks in strict accordance with safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
- Inspect forklifts for damage or mechanical issues before and after shifts.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of obstructions to prevent accidents.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as directed by the Shift Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts (1+ years preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulations.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
