Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklifts and warehouse machinery
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counting processes
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report equipment malfunctions or hazards immediately
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas following company guidelines
- Assist in receiving, sorting, and preparing shipments for delivery
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and inventory reports
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
