Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and storage areas
- Load/unload shipments using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counting processes
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company operational procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize storage space and workflow efficiency
- Assist in unloading inbound shipments and preparing outbound deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) or willingness to obtain immediately
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation and order verification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and warehouse environments
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
