Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial vehicles to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Assist in warehouse organization and stacking of goods in designated areas
- Support loading dock operations and coordinate with shipping/receiving teams
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain through company training)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and hazard recognition
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and measurement
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends if needed
