Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment
- Inspect and maintain machinery daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Manage inventory control through accurate scanning and documentation of products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist in warehouse organization and space utilization improvements
- Train new team members on equipment operation and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) a plus
