Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Accurately receive, stock, and organize inventory in warehouse facilities
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance documentation
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S methodology
- Utilize warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Train and mentor new operators on safety protocols
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficient with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation with flexible availability
