Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in warehouse and distribution environments
- Execute inventory control procedures including cycle counts and stock rotation
- Maintain accurate documentation of daily operations and equipment maintenance logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols at all times
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Support warehouse cleanliness and organization initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse or logistics experience
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including occasional weekends
