Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move products.
- Load and Unload Vehicles: Properly load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring weight distribution and security.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels through regular cycle counting.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and orderly to optimize workflow and prevent accidents.
- Material Preparation: Prepare pallets and packages for shipping, ensuring all labeling and documentation is correct.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification: Must possess a current and valid forklift operator license (Class A or B).
- High School Diploma: Minimum requirement of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read shipping labels, perform basic math calculations, and use scanners.
- Experience: Prior warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required (Entry Level candidates considered).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in handling goods.
