Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of machinery to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, checking quantities, labels, and damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock organization.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and workflow goals.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and handle hazardous materials if required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift (Counterbalance or Reach) in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA 10 or equivalent) is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to identify potential hazards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Must pass a background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as business needs require.
