Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on forklifts daily to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse documentation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize storage and workflow processes
- Assist in receiving, sorting, and staging of incoming shipments
- Support inventory control initiatives and cycle count activities
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends as needed
