Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials, products, and equipment efficiently within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks safely and accurately, ensuring cargo security during transit.
- Inspect forklift equipment for any mechanical issues before use and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory management and stock organization.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy during material handling.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
