Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and yard areas
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Manage inventory counts and documentation with precision using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist in maintaining clean, organized workspaces and reporting safety hazards
- Train on new equipment and processes as technology evolves
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating industrial forklifts
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret warehouse layouts, maps, and inventory systems
- Physical stamina to stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), and work in varying temperatures
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and documentation
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Preferable experience with RF scanners and warehouse management software
