Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and stack merchandise efficiently.
- Conduct daily inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Inspect machinery and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Follow strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with logistics coordinators to meet daily shipping targets.
- Package and secure cargo for safe transport.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime when needed.
