Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload pallets.
- Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance issues.
- Load and unload shipping containers, trucks, and trailers efficiently and accurately.
- Verify inventory by checking incoming and outgoing stock against shipping manifests.
- Organize warehouse to ensure safety and maximum efficiency in storage areas.
- Follow safety protocols strictly, including wearing PPE and adhering to OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to read labels, follow instructions, and maintain accurate records.
- License: Valid Driver’s License (Class B or CDL preferred).
