Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on forklift equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper scanning and documentation processes.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including palletizing and shrink-wrapping.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10 or equivalent) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and accident prevention.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Basic reading and math skills for inventory management.
