Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers accurately, ensuring cargo security and proper weight distribution.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
- Manage inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and stock transfers.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and navigating various warehouse terrains.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
