Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Execute precise inventory management using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Maintain OSHA compliance through daily equipment inspections and safety protocols
- Coordinate cross-functional team movements for dock-to-stock processes
- Optimize loading/unloading efficiency for inbound/outbound shipments
- Implement lean principles to reduce material handling waste
- Train junior operators on advanced warehouse maneuvers
Qualifications
- OSHA-certified forklift operator license (valid)
- 2+ years of industrial equipment experience in cold storage or distribution centers
- Proven ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in temperature-controlled environments
- Expertise with RF scanning technology and inventory management software
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and zero-accident records
- Flexible schedule availability (nights/weekends required)
