Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse/distribution environments
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on equipment (battery checks, fluid levels, etc.)
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of material movements
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow efficiency
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed (palletizing, sorting, etc.)
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-approved forklift certification required
- Minimum 1-2 years of forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Valid Texas driver's license preferred
