Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Manage inventory documentation and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate material flow and meet production deadlines
- Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist in warehouse organization and layout optimization for maximum operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within first 30 days of employment)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
