Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Load and unload freight and merchandise efficiently, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tagging stock as it enters and leaves the facility.
- Perform routine equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in safe working order and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to 5S standards and safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator License (OSHA Certified) required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when necessary.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
