Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load/unload shipments and move inventory
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Organize warehouse storage areas for efficient space utilization
- Operate other warehouse machinery as needed (pallet jacks, scanners)
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends for overtime
- Good communication skills and teamwork abilities
