Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure optimal performance and compliance
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle count initiatives
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company warehouse procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Assist in warehouse organization, stacking, and storage of goods
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns immediately
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and overtime
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new equipment/technologies
