Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine safety inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating warehouse management systems.
- Organize and stack products in designated storage areas to optimize warehouse space and flow.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies regarding hazardous materials and heavy machinery.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and shipments.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) license required; valid forklift certification is a must.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners or warehouse software.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
