Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment to move materials throughout the warehouse
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Load/unload trucks and containers with precision while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflow and meet production targets
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Assist in inventory management and cycle count activities
- Document all operations and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse/forklift operations
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent required
