Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, reporting maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and warehouse operational procedures
- Coordinate with team members to optimize workflow and meet weekend delivery targets
- Accurately document inventory movements using warehouse management systems
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent safety hazards
- Assist in training new weekend shift operators on equipment and processes
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain company-provided certification)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory documentation systems
- Reliable transportation to weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday 6am-2pm)
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently within a team environment
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required
