Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized materials throughout the warehouse
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Accurately track inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with weekend team to optimize loading/unloading operations
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting activities
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and pallet verification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexible schedule availability for weekend shifts (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM or 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM)
