Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, and stack materials in designated storage areas
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
- Accurately inventory and track materials using warehouse management systems
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and regulatory requirements
- Assist in training new team members on equipment operation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience with valid certification
- OSHA Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as required
