Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, and stack materials in warehouse racking systems
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Manage inventory counts and documentation using warehouse management systems
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to 5S methodology
- Collaborate with receiving/shipping teams to ensure timely material flow
- Strictly enforce safety protocols during all material handling operations
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse or industrial settings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays with occasional holiday shifts
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
