Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized materials safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues immediately
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow during peak weekend operations
- Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas with precision
- Assist in warehouse cleanup and safety compliance audits
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift experience in warehouse/logistics setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness for material handling
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexible schedule availability (Saturdays and Sundays, 6 AM - 6 PM)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
