Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized goods efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational procedures
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on equipment before/during shifts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet deadlines
- Prepare shipping/receiving documentation with meticulous attention to detail
- Support warehouse cleanliness and organization initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards and inventory control systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in team settings
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and documentation
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 2:30 PM)
- Preferential consideration for candidates with hazardous materials handling certification
