Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, etc.) safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers and trucks with speed and accuracy, adhering to shipping schedules.
- Stack pallets and organize inventory according to strict safety and space-efficiency guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free work area at all times to comply with OSHA standards.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting as required by management.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator License (required).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- License: Valid Driver's License (Class C or higher preferred but not mandatory).
- Safety Mindset: Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
