Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of all powered industrial equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ensure pallets are stacked correctly to prevent tipping and damage.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Assist with cross-docking and shipping/receiving activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B or Class A Forklift Operator Certification (CDL Class A is a plus).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and warehouse protocols.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) and holidays.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
