Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Organize, label, and inventory stock using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a zero-accident environment.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet tight shipping deadlines and handling quotas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping floors and organizing pallets.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional overtime.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
