Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move inventory
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Support inventory audits and cycle count initiatives
- Train new operators on safety procedures and equipment operation
- Work overtime as needed to meet production deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Proficient in inventory tracking systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance focus
- Flexibility to work Saturdays/Sundays (5 AM - 1 PM or 1 PM - 9 PM)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
