Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse/dock environments
- Load/unload freight trucks using pallet jacks and manual lifting (max 50 lbs)
- Perform daily equipment inspections and pre-shift safety checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records via RF scanner systems
- Adhere to OSHA/WISHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient dock operations
- Participate in quarterly safety training and equipment recertification
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience in fast-paced environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
- Basic computer literacy and RF scanner experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid driver's license required
