Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks per OSHA standards
- Load/unload shipments with precision while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with weekend team to optimize warehouse workflow and productivity
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures
- Document material movements using warehouse management systems
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts as scheduled
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts in warehouse settings
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8-hour shifts
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- High school diploma or GED required
- Availability for weekend shifts (Fri/Sat/Sun) with potential overtime
