Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely and efficiently drive sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately record inventory counts using RF scanners and maintain organized storage systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals and shipping deadlines.
- Pallet Handling: Utilize pallet jacks and shrink wrap machines to prepare outbound freight for delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator License (forklift certification).
- Weekend Availability: Must be available to work alternating weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and navigate warehouse environments.
- Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Attention to Detail: Strong record-keeping skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
