We are currently seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team for our Weekend Shift. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that inventory is managed accurately and our facilities run smoothly during our peak weekend hours.
Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently according to OSHA standards and company protocols.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack products accurately onto trailers, pallets, and shelves.
- Inventory Management: Verify counts and ensure proper labeling and organization of stock.
- Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a tidy, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Licensing: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A or B) is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to safety and accuracy in inventory tracking.
