Position Overview:
We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team. You will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role requires a valid forklift certification and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist in inventory control and cycle counts.
- Load and unload trucks with efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain one within 30 days).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
